The story of my friend is at the bottom... he recently commited suicide.  So check it out.

Hello.  This page is to show others... that people do die because of hate crimes.  Other then Afganastans or Americans.  It's to show that discrimination can between the same RACE.  It's to show... even though WE hate preps.  Don't take it out in violence.  Except them... they have problems just as much as we do.

Alex Binder was a nice guy to everyone who knew him. He actually wasn't hated at all. He played on Reynolds HighSchool's(oregon), baseball team. He was a really great person to those who did know him. He loved to snowboard and his most prized possion was his snowboard.

He lived with his mother and his step father and had no trouble with them. Infact they were some of the nicest parent's anyone could ever have. He also had sibblings that were pretty cool.

He decided to take his life, he had tryed once before, i don't know why his parent's didn't take that as a sign, but he decide on Thursday, Oct 3rd, 2002, to take his life. He hung himself with a LEASH from a beam in his garage. He had a mask on suposbally to hide his face from his parent's, and he had taken a mirror down from his room and propped it up so he could watch him self, he I guess jumped off the washing machine to hang him self. his parent's came home around 10:30 that night to find him swinging back and fourth when they opend the door to the garage...

that is the end of the story that i know. It's one of the hardest things to type... I have known alex binder for 7 years. He would be the least likely person i know to take his life. he was always so happy and had his headphones on. my best memory of him was just walking the in the class room, yelling BINDER, and having him turn around and me snap a picture of him! I loved alex. though iwas not extrememly close, he was an awesome person.
